I love pizza but I don’t have the luxury of consuming it like I once did. You have heard the saying “tastes like chicken” well I am here to tell you that this chicken tastes like pizza! Tastes Like Pizza
This Chicken Tastes Like Pizza!
- 6-8 Chicken Tenders
- 2 Italian Squashes
- 1 Large Red Onion
- 1/2 Can Slice Olives
- 2 Red Bell Peppers
- Extra-Virgin Olive
- Sea Salt
- Cracked Pepper
- Blanched Almond Flour
- Trader Joe’s Bruschetta
Tenderize the chicken tenders. Cover the chicken with saran wrap and beat with a meat mallet.
Place chicken tenders in a bowl and season with sea salt, cracked pepper, and drizzle in extra-virgin olive.
Cover and place in fridge for about 25-30 minutes.
Chop semi thick slices of red bell peppers and 2 Italian Squashes.
In a bowl mix the chopped red bell peppers, Italian squash, onions, and sliced olives with a little extra-virgin olive oil, a little blanched almond flour sea salt and cracked pepper.
Pop in air-fryer. I typically set mine for 400 F for this large batch. I make sure to move and flip the veggies around the 15 minute mark. Between 20-22 minutes I begin looking. I like mine crispy. So I typically let them fry for about 25-35 minutes depending on size of veggies. If you don’t have an air-fryer just roast your veggies in the oven.
10-12 minutes before your veggies are done, pop out your chicken tenders. Get your grill-fry pan or regular pan out. Set heat to medium-high. Place chicken tenders for a few minutes on each side. Don’t move around. Let cook in the same spot for the grilled effect. Make sure the internal chicken temperature chicken is cooked through before consuming. I highly recommend a meat thermometer. Nobody like’s over cooked chicken.
Place veggies and chicken on a plate and sprinkle with Trader Joe’s Bruschetta.
